As broadcast specialists, we make complex live production and camera setups work — reliably.
From planning and system integration to on-site operation and custom software.
Purpose-built tool for professional broadcast and live productions.
Browser-based PTZ camera control and live NDI monitoring for broadcast engineers. Discover cameras on your network, run full reset sequences, and analyse the signal in real time — all from a single web interface.
Scans the LAN and identifies compatible Panasonic and BirdDog PTZ cameras automatically — no manual IP entry needed.
Resets all color and black values to factory defaults in one click, ready for white balance and black balance calibration.
Streams a real-time NDI feed directly in the browser with practical waveform (RGB Parade, Luma) and vectorscope analysis in BT.709.
Toggle Auto Focus, Auto Iris, Gamma, Linear Matrix, and adjust exposure and color temperature — all without opening the camera's own web GUI.
Real-time log panel for every camera command and system event, with optional file logging for post-show diagnostics.
All-in-one automated colour matching for Broadcast and PTZ cameras in live environments. Not yet available — currently in active development.

Measures live input feed from the camera against a physical test chart, computes the per-patch RGB delta, and drives the camera's own parameters directly via its manufacturer API — iteratively, until every patch converges within tolerance. No LUTs. No post-processing. No manual knob turns. The camera itself ends up matched.
smart-matching is in active development and I am looking for investors to accelerate the roadmap. If you are interested, get in touch.
Samples 29 colour and luminance patches from a live camera feed using the DSC Labs CDM 12+4R v15.2 A3 chart. Fixed bounding boxes, average RGB per patch region, scales to any frame resolution. The operator frames the chart — the system does the rest.
No intermediate layer, no colour grade. Each camera is controlled via its own native manufacturer protocol. Pedestal, gamma, white balance gains, and colour matrix parameters are written directly to the camera's own hardware registers.
Grab live feed → measure patches → compute delta → send corrected value to camera → re-measure. Repeats until all active parameters converge within threshold or the maximum iteration count is reached. No manual intervention after start.
Luminance before colour: black point → midtone curve → R/B channel balance → flare → chroma level → hue matrix → 6-axis linear matrix → 12-axis colour correction. Each stage is converged before the next begins.
All cameras are independently calibrated to chart spec first, then a fine-tuning pass closes the inter-camera residual via their respective APIs. Cross-brand pairs are supported — if hardware limits prevent a perfect match, the minimum achievable residual is reported.
medien-support was founded in 2007 as a full-service provider for TV and event productions. From the beginning, we combined operational production expertise with a strong engineering mindset. We design and deliver complete workflows from planning and system integration to on-site operation and technical support.
Our focus is not only on providing the right technology or planning, but on making complex setups reliable and efficient through custom software. We develop tailored solutions for automation, control, and synchronization across multiple hardware environments, helping production teams reduce manual steps, minimize errors, and achieve consistent results under live conditions.
Operational experience plus engineering execution.
Andreas brings over 30 years of professional experience in broadcast and event production. Alongside his creative work as a cameraman and vision mixer, he developed a strong focus on the technology behind the scenes as a video technician. He built a successful freelance career starting in Munich, working for national and international production companies. He has contributed to over 800 live productions for clients such as Audi, BMW, Deutsche Bank, HP, SAP and many others. In 1999, he moved to Berlin, where he developed the first LED billboard video playout software for NMB Street TV AG. In 2002, he joined best-media-connection GmbH as a Video TD and production manager. In 2007, he founded medien-support, where he continues to develop solutions for the broadcast and event industry.
